DOUBLE DOLE STRING BAND + AOIFE DHIARMADA + BEC BASTOLI + WOBBLY BOOTS STRING BAND

Join us to launch a pair of singles "Pig City" and "Waterfall Way." It's gonna be an epic night of folk music and a hell of a party with our friends Aoife Nic Dhiarmada, Bec Bastoli and Wobbly Boots Stringband. 50% of the proceeds will help pay comrades' legal costs from Disrupt Land Forces. Get your tix ASAP!

$25 Waged/$10 Unwaged/$50 Solidarity. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Double Dole Stringband play innovative and driving old-time tunes. Holding down the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and vocals both sweet and rowdy, they've become stalwarts at venues around their borrowed hometown of Naarm/Melbourne, as well as folk festivals across the country

The band ventured into the studio in winter 2024 to record their debut full-length album, with the first single Lewin’s/Rusty’s released in February and the album set for release in Spring of 2025. When they're not playing original tunes, you can find them calling high energy bushdances, running inclusive old-time sessions, and picking into the wee hours.
---
Aoife Nic Dhiarmada is an Irish traditional singer and fiddle player who’s seen frequently performing, teaching and hosting at sessions and festivals around Ireland and Australia. Aoife is a founding member of the Naarm Traditional Singers Circle, Folk Artists for Palestine Naarm, and teaches traditional singing at Melbourne Comhaltas.
---
Bec Bastoli is an Australian-Palestinian artist whose songwriting explores threads of identity, connection and longing. Accompanying herself on guitar and mandolin, her richly melodic music invites listeners into a space of thoughtful reflection. With a voice that is both expressive and unguarded, she delivers what Timber and Steel called “some of the most poignant songs I’ve heard in ages.”
---
The Wobbly Boots bring their own blend of hillbilly string band music across the Merri Creek to the Lowie from their home, busking on High St. Pete Holmes sings original and traditional songs on banjo with Charlie Sandford's repertoire of fiddle tunes - rags, blues and old-time mountain tunes, with an infectious rhythm accompaniment of guitar, mandolin, double bass and rubboard.

Kye Arnot is a singer/songwriter living in the Yarra Ranges. A self-taught guitarist and vocalist, he has been honing his love for music since 2020. RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCE + SHIPYARD + LABITULATE + SKEZM + OVERTHRONE

Religious Observance destroys The Old Bar.

The Old Bar will risk all the mortar binding it’s walls on the 31st May.

Supporting Religious Observance on their destructive quest are:
Shipyard – Heavy and meditative sludge doom two piece
Latibulate -  Blackened Post Metal, desperate, scathing, vulnerable and intensely heavy.
Skezm – Furious and crushing punk grind. Whirlwind of Dystopia and Nails injected chaotic damage.

With a voice that lays bare fragility and distinct power, Ullah’s delicate lyricism has an honesty that drives home a theme of tender truths.
Since 2021, Ullah has been playing around Perth and Fremantle supporting prominent international and national acts.
Ullah will be coming to Melbourne and Sydney for their first eastern states headline shows, launching their newest single “If I Were a Fish”.
